Rapper Blaqbonez Refutes Harassment Claims, Alleges Orchestrated Campaign of Industry Bullying and Rivalry

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, widely known as Blaqbonez, has forcefully addressed recent accusations of cyberstalking, harassment, and emotional abuse, branding the allegations as a calculated smear campaign driven by industry rivalry.

The controversy arose following a police petition filed by an unidentified woman ("Jane Doe") through her legal counsel. The petitioner alleged months of harassment, blackmail, and the unauthorized circulation of private videos after she declined the rapper's romantic advances.

In a swift denial, Blaqbonez insisted the claims are "untrue" and are part of a "sustained pattern of harassment and intimidation" from specific figures within the music industry. He revealed that the allegations stem from a past, "respectful" personal relationship which has since been "entangled with professional rivalries" and used as "ammunition" to publicly discredit him.

The rapper further claimed he has endured nearly a year of various forms of abuse, including "bullying, physical assaults, and online attacks," which he initially kept silent about. He stated that he is now speaking out to prevent falsehoods from spreading unchecked.

Blaqbonez assured fans that he is "cooperating fully with the authorities" to establish the truth and is also taking legal steps to protect himself against the "harassment and defamation" he has faced. He concluded by warning against the real-world consequences of "false accusations" and bullying.
