UNICEF Nigeria: Over 106,000 Children in Gombe State Receive Life-Saving Nutrition Supplements
Ms. Philomena Irene, a Nutrition Specialist based at the UNICEF Nigeria Bauchi Field Office, has provided a detailed update on the organization's critical nutrition interventions in Gombe State.
According to Ms. Irene, 106,248 children in the state have successfully received Small-Quantity Lipid-Based Nutrient Supplements (SQ-LNS) as part of the targeted distribution program running between 2023 and 2025.
