Afrobeats star Ruger has finally addressed the persistent speculation and alleged rift with his prominent senior colleague, Davido. The sensational singer, known for hits like "Bounce" and "Asiwaju," spoke out to clarify his stance amidst continuous accusations from sections of Davido's fanbase.

The Ruger-Davido beef rumors largely stem from Ruger's earlier open expression of appreciation for Wizkid and his followers, leading many of Davido's supporters (often referred to as '30BG') to accuse Ruger of siding against the DMW CEO. The situation recently escalated after a Davido fan on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) declared that Ruger's career would remain stagnant until he issued a public apology to Davido. The fan wrote, "When you're ready apologize and beg Davido publicly, your song will enter No 1."
